Design Notes - DEM data from USGS NED data.  TransDEM designed for absolute correctness in profile and terrain.  Topographic overlay from 1979 used to accurately portray tree lines, roads, homes and waterways.

Topography - Undulating rolling hills through North Carolina's rich Sand Hill region.  Pine tree dominated vegetation.  Sandy/clay soil mixed with red clay.  Cotton, tobacco, pine products and soy are prime agricultural items.
